About Me

Hi I'm Ashley. When I was a baby, my parents described me as curious with my eyes often wide open. Well, not too much has changed. As a naturally observant, curious person, I often found myself seeking to understand the "why" or deeper meanings behind life and human experiences. This prompted me to attend University of Maryland School of Social Work after studying behavioral sciences at York College of Pennsylvania.

These qualities about me will benefit you if you're working with me as I am willing to do the deep dive with you into unknown territories to uncover answers to your questions, such as “why is this happening to me?” Superficial work can easily lead to superficial results. We all have blindspots, and I aim to help you clearly see yours. Through empathetic guidance, I will help you navigate challenging questions and thoughts, overcome self-limiting beliefs, and achieve greater self-awareness and understanding.

As a therapist, I will there every step of the way in your treatment, showing up with genuine care and concern. As a person with an empathetic nature, I've always been aware of other people's emotions and difficulties on a level that others didn't. Most of my clients say to me that "I get them." Through my 8+ years of clinical experience as a licensed clinical social worker as well as my empathetic nature, I have witnessed the power of supportive relationships in addition to knowledge and skills being provided.

Most of us are seeking connection, external validation, or  just a listening ear. For this reason, the therapeutic relationship is important to me. My collaborative approach ensures clients feel understood and empowered throughout their journey of self-discovery. You will be heard and seen for who you are!

Are you ready to take the first step?

My Values

Confidentiality

Always With Care Services LLC takes confidentiality seriously and recognizes the importance of upholding HIPAA laws and requirements. I take various measures in order to ensure your confidentiality and privacy.

Compassion

Compassion is a vital aspect of treatment, helping to address shame, stigma, and self-criticism. When we are met with compassion, we feel valued and welcomed. When we valued and welcomed, we are more likely to stay engaged in those settings.

Self-Discovery

Self awareness is a crucial grounding aspect of healing. The less self awareness, the harder it becomes to make helpful and empowering changes in your life. Self-discovery helps you to remain aligned with your authentic self.

Acceptance

At Always With Care Services, acceptance is valued on various levels, but especially acceptance of self and embracing your thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or neglecting them. Additionally, I highlight and acknowledge the reality of your mental health experiences while prioritizing non-judgement.
